Location

By air:

Pescara airport is an hour from Decontra, and there is a daily flight with Ryanair from London Stansted. Alternatively there are a variety of flights with Ryanair and Easyjet from the UK to Rome Ciampino, which is 2 ½ hours drive from Decontra.

 

By car:

From the Rome-Pescara motorway, take the exit for Alanno-Scafa and follow signs for Caramanico Terme. Wind gently uphill for around 25 minutes, and just before reaching the town of Caramanico Terme, take a left turn signed to Riga and Decontra. After a further 10 minutes you will arrive at Decontra. Follow the main lane through the village, turning sharp left by the chapel, and then sharp right where a gravel road heads left. At the next fork take the right hand lower lane. Beyond the dip, look for the drive to 31 Decontra on your left.
